ICAO AGL Control Systems

The training takes place each day between 9:00 a.m. CET and 4:00 p.m. CET.

The AGL control systems training explains ADB SAFEGATE’s Airfield Lighting Control Systems (ALCS) and Individual Lamp Control and Monitoring Systems (ILCMS) systems, covering both theory and the practical operation of these systems. Attendees can also gain insights from ADB SAFEGATE’s knowledge and experience in this field. It focuses on the RELIANCE portfolio of ALCS systems.

Purpose

  • Outline the general definition of Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring Systems (ALCMS)
  • Explore an airport safety case
  • Demonstrate how to choose the technology and architecture for the ALCMS
  • Outline relations between HMI’s, Local Controllers, Actuators on the airport and Field Detection Systems
  • Look at communication mediums and protocols
  • Dive into Individual Lamp Control and Monitoring Systems
  • Explore the future of Control Systems
